Subscriber's profile disappears on change status of a subscriber to unsubscribed, effective on a future billing date

Answer

If you mark someone as unsubscribed they are no longer subscribed and it is immediate. You cannot set someone to unsubscribed at a future date.  He is now unsubscribed. 

He disappeared because you probably were viewing a list of only "subscribed" statuses. 

Go to advanced search and choose any status to view all records.
