Answer

You don't need an Affiliate ID field in Nanacast. Nanacast automatically passes "AffiliateID" to iContact.

All you need to do is create a field called "AffiliateID" in iContact to receive the data. Same for "ReferralID"

In iContact:

 - affiliateid means the affiliate id that the contact would use to promote your product. 

 - referralid is the id of the affiliate that referred the contact. 

When you click the link, you will only get a referralid. 

affiliateid is only generated if you have a membership and have people automatically join your affiliate program when they signup. 

Do this and you'll see what I mean: add referralid as a custom field to your icontact. You’ll see it populated.
