Setting up a cart and affiliate program to offer customized, high-dollar products with an initial deposit and a the balance on the back end
Solution As you know, every client project is generally customized and priced differently. If you are not doing too much volume, much can be managed manually for tracking and recording commissions on paper.

However, there is a strategy you can use to automate this. Nanacast tracks by IP and cookie, so it is more accurate than most affiliate systems, and it pays on front and back end commissions... whenever you have set your offer to "allow affiliates."

So here are a couple strategies you can do with Nanacast:

1. You can set up a "product" using our product or membership wizard which I generally call a "dummy product" and you can select it to allow affiliates. Whether you set a price for this product does not matter... this is going to be your landing page product. Set the commission to $0 and check the option to hide commission amount from affiliate center.

This product could be like a squeeze page or it could be set up to collect a deposit or escrow for people to get in line. Set up custom fields to capture all important info about the client, including contact details, and add a text box field in our custom fields settings and ask them to describe their project. Set your notification email in the custom fields settings to send you the details every time a new prospect opts in. Check the option to use your own landing page for affiliate traffic and enter the URL for where you want your clients who are referred by affiliates to be directed when they click an affiliate link.

2. Next, generate a form for this dummy product in Nanacast and put it on your landing page. Now you are all set to track affiliate referrals.

3. If you want to have different lead forms for different offers or if you want to vary the escrow or deposit if you are charging one for different offers, manage the offer you created in our system and use our copy link to create duplicates of it. Modify the custom fields, notification email addresses, product name, deposit amounts, etc. as needed for each one. On the edit pricing step, check the option to hide each of the duplicates from the affiliate center. Generate the form code for each and place them on the same landing page as the original. You only need one listed in the affiliate center which is why you are hiding the rest. The system will track all front and back end referrals.

4. If your packages are predictable... and static then you can create additional offers that are priced accordingly. Check allow affiliates for these, set your commission amounts, and hide from affiliate enter.

Again, you are hiding these because it’s only important for the affiliates to promote your central landing page. Of course you can vary your strategy if you want, and have other offers with their own landing page, allowing affiliates with the promo links showing in the affiliate center.

5. As your leads come in and fill in the Nanacast forms you have created, the details are sent to the notification email addresses that you set.

Contact the leads, help them find the best option for them and send them the link or direct them to a page where they can choose from the static options.

6. If you need to create a custom offer simply create a quick product in the product wizard after you have lined out the details with your prospect, set you custom price, choose allow affiliates, choose hide from affiliate center, and set the commission amount for this custom priced offer and send the buy link to the client. The system will have already tracked what affiliate referred them to the landing page where they filled in the prospect form and the system will track that same person accordingly when they go to order the custom offer.

7. Alternatively, you can also use our coupon system and use our forced coupon option to assign specific coupons to specific affiliates... the strategies are far more numerous than I can list.
