 Setting up a Free Affiliate Membership
Solution
  1. Create a free membership for your affiliates. On the Edit Pricing & Delivery page of your free affiliate membership, in the Affiliate Settings, check the option to Auto-Join subscribers to your affiliate program.
  2. Set your free affiliate membership in your custom affiliate membership settings. From the menu under My Account >> Profile & Preferences, go to the Customized Affiliate Center Settings, and select your free affiliate membership in the drop-down selection under "Automatically join your affiliates to this membership"
  3. Sign up your affiliates. You can do this in a few ways:
    • Provide prospective affiliates with the auto-join link for your affiliate program. 
      • You can find the auto-join link from the menu by clicking Manage >> Links. At the bottom of the manage links page, you'll find the auto-join link for your affiliate program listed.
      • The auto-join link is where the registration for your affiliate program will take place. You can customize that page under the Customized Affiliate Center Settings under My Account >> Profile & Preferences. 
      • When affiliates register for your affiliate program with the auto-join link, they will automatically be added to the free affiliate membership you set in the Customized Affiliate Center Settings under My Account >> Profile & Preferences. Again, having them in this membership allows you to access affiliate data from the subscriber list of the membership, and lets you add affiliates to a mailing list service, if desired.
    • You could alternately use the optional Nanacast-hosted sales page specifically for the free affiliate membership offer (you can find the URL of the Nanacast-hosted sales page on the Edit Listing page of the membership.) 
    • You could create your own page on your own site and embed the code for the form of your free affiliate membership in that page (recommended). You can find out how to get embedded form code here:

In any case, we recommend having them login at your customized affiliate center login page, even if they register for your affiliate program elsewhere. You can certainly provide a login link on your main site that points to the login page for your custom affiliate center.

You can also provide affiliates the URL for the customized affiliate center login page by using the {affiliate_login_url} tag in your Thank-you Email, which you can set on the Thank-You Email Settings section of the Edit Pricing & Delivery page of your free affiliate membership.
