Solution

PayPal limits you to no less than 2 installments... You can do single installment after a trial if you use a merchant account and gateway with our system and not PayPal. You could also create coupon codes to pay for the whole membership in one transaction when using a merchant account and gateway. Neither of these are possible with PayPal.
