Setting up the PayPal payment with auto returns
Solution The membership PDF instructions for setting up the PayPal payment may not state this, but on the Edit Pricing/Delivery page where you enter your PayPal info, there is this piece of information, which might be helpful:

Click Here for instructions on setting up Auto Return in your PayPal account. Enabling "Auto Return" will automatically redirect your visitors to the thank-you page instead of requiring them to click the "Return to Merchant" button once payment has been made. You can leave the "Return URL" field blank in your PayPal account or enter any URL. Each subscriber has a unique thank you page URL that is passed in to PayPal for each transaction so PayPal will use that URL and not the one you've entered in your PayPal account, so it doesn't matter what you've entered there.
