Using Payment Express by DPS in Nanacast

Nanacast integration with Payment Express supports both DPS Hosted (PX Pay) and Merchant Hosted (PX Post) solutions. 

For DPS Hosted (PX Pay):

Some banks mandate that merchants use the DPS Hosted solution, which requires PxPay credentials. PX Pay is an additional service available from Payment Express and is required for using their hosted Payment services. 

NOTE: Only one-time payments are supported for PX Pay at this time. For recurring, use PX Post.

1 - Add your Payment Express credentials:
- From the main menu, click Manage >> Merchant Accounts > Add New Merchant Account.
- Select 'Payment Express'
- Provide the following:

  • PxPost Username: This is your DPS PxPost Username
  • PxPost Password: This is your DPS PxPost Password
  • PxPay Key: This is your DPS PxPay Key
  • PxPay Userid: This is your DPS PxPay User ID
2 - Set 'PaymentExpress (DPS Hosted)' as the payment method in your offer
- Create a new or edit an existing offer: 
From the Edit Pricing & Delivery step/page of your offer, in the "Payment Processor Settings" section, set the "Default Ordering Method" field to 
'PaymentExpress (DPS Hosted)'
This MUST be set to 
'PaymentExpress (DPS Hosted)' to use the DPS Hosted checkout solution (i.e. the Payment Express checkout form).  This differs from the Merchant Hosted (PX Post) configuration.

3 - Get code for embedded form for your offer:
From the overview menu of your offer, click "Create Button". (Alternately, from the main menu, click Create >> Forms, Buttons & Links, and then select your offer)

Copy the embedded form code and paste into your sales page.

Note: Only embedded forms are currently supported for the DPS Hosted (PX Pay) solution. Text Links and Plain Checkout URL are NOT supported.


For Merchant Hosted (PX Post):

1 - Add your Payment Express credentials:

- From the main menu, click Manage >> Merchant Accounts > Add New Merchant Account.
- Select 'Payment Express'
- Provide the following:
  • PxPost Username: This is your DPS PxPost Username
  • PxPost Password: This is your DPS PxPost Password
  • PxPay Key: Leave blank - PX Pay credentials are NOT required for the Merchant Hosted (PX Post) solution
  • PxPay Userid: Leave blank - PX Pay credentials are NOT required for the Merchant Hosted (PX Post) solution
2 - Set 'Credit Card' as the payment method in your offer
- Create a new or edit an existing offer. 
From the Edit Pricing & Delivery step/page of your offer, in the "Payment Processor Settings" section, set the "Default Ordering Method" field to "Credit Card"
This MUST be set to 'Credit Card' to use the Merchant Hosted checkout solution (i.e. the Nanacast Secure Checkout form).  This differs from the 
DPS Hosted (PX Pay) configuration.

3 - Get code for embedded form, button or link for your offer:
From the overview menu of your offer, click "Create Button". (Alternately, from the main menu, click Create >> Forms, Buttons & Links, and then select your offer)

Select Text Link, Plain Checkout URL or Embedded form (if available based on your offer configuration).

Copy the code for the form, button or link and use in your sales page.
